Fresh Scone vs. Frozen Scone: We did a blind taste test with the creator of the recipe, Suzanne Virgilio, to determine which scone tasted better: the freshly baked scone, or the scone that was frozen and warmed in the oven for 20 minutes. Suzanne chose the frozen scone! Freezing and re-heating them actually creates more of a crust to the scone that complements the soft, flaky crumb on the inside.
Re-Heat Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place frozen scones on parchment-lined tray and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy!
